Firm Philosophy

Firm Philosophy

Founding partner Ryan Blanch started The Blanch Law Firm because he saw that criminal defendants in New Jersey did not have the best resources available to them in order to protect their rights. It seemed like defendants were given two choices; they could go with a solo practitioner who was skilled and experienced but for too often unable to adequately serve all their clients at once, or they could go with a big firm where they would become just another case number in a file cabinet. Seeing these problems, Mr. Blanch started The Blanch Law Firm because he wanted to found a firm that could provide the dedication of a small firm to their clients while having all the resources and talent available of a large firm.

In order to achieve this Mr. Blanch created the founding precepts that guide every decision that The Blanch Law Firm makes towards case preparation. They are:

Time is a Resource: Far too often smaller practices will become overwhelmed and ultimately become compromised because they take on too many cases. All good criminal defense attorneys become attorneys because they want to help people, this can be both a good thing and a bad thing. By taking on a limited and select number of clients every year, The Blanch Law Firm ensures that all of their client’s obtain the best possible care during their case.

Experience is Priceless: while one dedicated attorney can be very helpful to their client, they are limited by the amount of hours that there are in a day, a week, a year. The more attorneys that a client has working for them the better chance they have at evening the playing field against the government and near limitless amount of resources they possess. The Blanch Law Firm employs a team of skilled attorneys to each case where they can collaborate and share knowledge on the case to make sure that their clients have the best possible defense.

Just as having the right team of attorneys working for you is important, having attorneys with the right skill set and professional knowledge is important as well. Experience is something that can be the key difference maker in whether or not a case will be dismissed. Experience is something that cannot be taught to an attorney in law school, it is something that can only come to someone through practice and experience servicing their clients. The attorneys who now work at The Blanch Law Firm came to the firm through two distinct paths, either they worked at large litigation firms and earned experience working some of the top cases, or worked at state, or federal prosecutor’s offices. This experience allows them to have the perfect skill-set to efficiently and effectively service their clients and achieve top results.
